We know what we are going to do with EU support – minister

04.11.2021 | 18:03At the joint meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committees on European Integration and Financial and Budgetary Affairs, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan said d that large-scale financial cooperation programs are envisaged between the European Union and the Government of Armenia.
“It will represent a total amount of 2.6 billion euros, partly aimed at the direct financial goal of the private sector, partly aimed at supporting government programs through the state budget,” said Khachatryan. “It is possible that we know what we are going to do with the EU support, it is agreed with our EU partners.”
Speaking about the guidelines, Khachatryan emphasized the increase of access to education, the improvement of reservoirs, irrigation water supply systems, the promotion of communication, social and economic development, including cooperation in the construction of the North-South corridor, etc.
