New french co-chair of Minsk group appointed

The OSCE Minsk Group has a new French co-chair. The Vie Publique reported that at the suggestion of the French Foreign Ministry, Bryce Roquefeuil was appointed Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, as well as Ambassador of the European Union to the Eastern Partnership. In this position, he will replace Stefan Visconti, who held the post of Minsk Group co-chair for five years, from October 2016.
In the 2000s, Brice Roquefeuil served as political advisor at the French embassies in Russia and Turkey.
