Erdogan speaks about his meeting with US president

Turkish President Erdogan has offered details about his meeting with US President Biden on the sidelines of the G20 summit, Anadolu agency reported.
Erdogan said he expressed regret over US support for PKK / PYG “terrorist organizations” in Syria and conveyed hope that the United States would renounce the practice of providing weapons to “terrorist organizations”. He added that the agenda of the meeting with Biden included the modernization of F-16 fighter jets in the Turkish arsenal or the provision of new aircraft to Ankara.
Erdogan said that Turkish and US Defense Ministers are “following the process.”
“I saw a positive approach from Mr. Biden on this issue,” Erdogan said.
Speaking on the plans of the EU to create its own armed forces, Erdogan said: “It is not a real plan, it is impossible.”
