Parliament will hold an urgent discussion on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact. The decision was passed on October 26 by 63 votes in favor, 17 abstentions. Besides, it was decided that the first deputy chief of the Armed Forces General Staff Kamo Kochunts and the Commander of the NSS Border Troops Arman Maralchyan, will testify at the hearing. his decision was adopted unanimously by 86 votes in favor.
Speaking on the matter, Artsvik Minasyan of the Armenia faction asked: “We also offered to involve the Foreign Minister. What is the reason that he is not involved, because there were a lot of questions in that area? ”
In response, NA Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan said: “I passed the opposition’s proposal to the government; in fact, the government considered it necessary to send the mentioned officials for that discussion.”
