Inquiry commission set up in parliament to study Hayastan Fund’s spending

22.10.2021 | 18:44Acting National Assembly Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan issued a statement, which says that a National Assembly Inquiry Commission has been set up by force of law.
“Pursuant to Article 20, Part 1 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, a National Assembly Inquiry Commission was established by law to study the use of funds collected by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund at the request of at least a quarter of the total number of MPs. The draft decision of the National Assembly defining the number of members of the commission will be discussed in the National Assembly in 2021 in a regular sittings starting on October 26,” the statement reads.
