Activation in Berdzor not accidental, ruling party MP says
Speaking about the drills in Berdzor, MP Tatevik Hayrapetyan of the Civil Contract faction said that “all this is taking place in an area very close to the deployment of Russian peacekeeping troops.” She said that in September, a joint Turkish-Azerbaijani military exercise was held in Berdzor and that more than 50 military exercises have been held in the last 10 months.
“In my opinion, this activation in the Berdzor area is not accidental, taking into account that the Berdzor corridor is the only vital way connecting Armenia and Artsakh after the war. Our adversaries continue to prepare for the implementation of various scenarios, of course, envisaging the use of force to achieve their strategic goals. This is the “peace” they offer,” Hayrapetyan wrote.
On October 19, Azerbaijan started new military exercises in the occupied Kashatagh (Lachin) region of Artsakh. During the exercise, the cooperation of the ground forces with other military types will be tested using modern management methods.
