Ozdemir Bayraktar, the chairman of the board of Baykar Savunma, a Turkish drone manufacturer, has died at the age of 72, Turkish media says.

His sons, Bayuk Savunma CEO Haluk Bayraktar and the company’s technical director Seljuk Bayraktar, took to Twitter to mourn their father’s death.

The Bayraktars were actively used by the Turkish-Azerbaijani side in the 44-day Artsakh war.

Seljuk Bayraktar is married to Erdogan’s youngest daughter.
