Azeri Armed Forces build shelters, pave roads in Armenia territories they have invaded – Ombudsman
The Azerbaijani armed forces units that have invaded into the Gegharkunik province of Armenia, have built large shelters, accumulated a large amount of firewood, and paved the roads leading to their positions, the office of Armenia’s ombudsman says.
“Their activity has recently increased sharply. Moreover, they continue to build new roads, increase the number of servicemen and armaments in the positions. They are constantly carrying out active engineering work on position reinforcement in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. They are physically present in the very lands that belong to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia. These data have been confirmed by the Human Rights Defender’s office, including by its Gegharkunik regional subdivision, with reliable evidence and data verified by several sources,” a statement by the Ombudsman’s office says in parts.
