Iran closes air space for Azerbaijani military supplies planes

Through official military channels, Iran informed Azerbaijan today that it has imposed a ban on flights to Nakhichevan, which are mainly carrying out military supplies, according to an Azerbaijani news report.
The source of the report has said that Iran “committed another betrayal of Azerbaijan at the behest of Armenia. Iran’s next attempt to strike at Azerbaijan will not have a big impact on the supply of military units in Nakhichevan as Azerbaijan rarely uses this route, preferring transportation by other routes.”
The relations between Baku and Tehran are now extremely tense. Earlier, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that it would not tolerate “the presence of the Zionist regime in Azerbaijan and border changes in the region.”
