In the first days of the disease, patients with coronavirus have acute flu-like symptoms: sore throat, high fever. To this can be added dizziness and loss of sense of smell. Both symptoms indicate virus damage to the central nervous system, doctors said.
“Runny nose, sore throat, sweating, fast-growing and long-lasting, with a large number of sputum. The fever behaves like the flu, but lasts longer. Significant neurological symptoms are dizziness, headache, weakness. When trying to climb sharply, fainting is possible, damage to the central nervous system is registered. All these symptoms do not appear at once, at most on the second day, they continue for weeks,” explained Dr. Alexander Ediger.
