At the meeting with Turkish President Erdogan in Sochi, Russian President Putin said that Moscow and Ankara have learned to find mutually beneficial compromises, RIA Novosti reported.

Putin noted that the talks are sometimes difficult, but have a positive result. “We are cooperating quite successfully in the international line. I mean Syria, Libya. The Russian-Turkish ceasefire control center on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is actively operating,” he said. He added that the cooperation between the two countries guarantees stability.

From his part, Erdogan praised the joint steps taken in the Syrian issue, noting that peace in the region depends on the relations between the two countries.
