The shortcomings of the UNICEF Representative in Armenia Marianne Clark-Hattingh in the implementation of her mandate and the non-cooperative style of work, were problematic for the Armenian side, so the Armenian government decided to terminate Clark-Hutting’s tenure as UNICEF Representative in the Republic of Armenia.
“The UN Resident Coordinator and UNICEF representatives have been informed about the decision”, said Anna Naghdalyan.
It should be reminded that “Sputnik Armenia” reported earlier that the head of the UNICEF Armenia office Marianne Clark-Hatting left Armenia urgently.
The urgency, according to the media source, is conditioned by some mistakes made by Marianne Clark-Hattingh during the mission in Armenia․
“In other words, the head of the UNICEF Armenia office did not present himself correctly in some issue.”
According to the information spread in Telegram channels, the head of the UNICEF Armenia office spied for Azerbaijan and Great Britain, after which the Armenian authorities declared her as “persona non grata”.
