According to Article 155, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, MP Vahagn Tevosyan, submitted his resignation on March 9.
Pursuant to Article 155, Part 2 of the Constitutional Law “Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly”, if within one week after the publication of the resignation, the MP withdraws his / her resignation application in written form, then the President of the National Assembly should make a statement. If no, then a protocol on the termination of his powers is drawn up, which is signed and published by the President of the National Assembly. Resignation is considered accepted from the moment of the protocol՛s publication. It should be reminded that Vahagn Tevosyan was appointed to the above-mentioned position by the decision of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan after being declared the winner of the competition for a member of the Public Broadcaster Board.
