Azeri media reported that the Kazakh delegation was accompanied by Adil Aliyev, Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan, Adil Aliyev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan Interparliamentary Working Group, and Samed Seidov, Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations. The members of the Kazakh delegation visited the historical and cultural sites of Armenian Shushi. In Varanda, they visited the newly built airport.
Azerbaijani authorities regularly organize propaganda trips for foreign officials to the occupied cities of Artsakh and especially Shushi. Earlier, the ambassadors of different countries accredited in Azerbaijan visited Shushi, to which the Armenian Foreign Ministry also reacted by handing notes to respective diplomatic missions. However, Yerevan has not yet responded to the visit of the Kazakh delegation to Shushi. By the way, on September 11, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev.
