The Telegram channel of the Russian peacekeepers reported that the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno Karabakh, Lt Gen Rustam Muradov today paid a visit to Jamil Babayev, an Azeri soldier found in Martakert, now detained in Stepanakert.
“At Babayev’s request, he will be given the opportunity to contact relatives and family members,” the statement said, adding that a photo of the meeting was published.
The leader of the Bright Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, commenting on Muradov’s visit in a Facebook post, wrote that any exchange should be all for all so that all Armenian POWs are returned.
