Azerbaijani forces blocked the Karmrakar-Shurnukh section of the Kapan-Goris interstate road on August 25, at about 11 pm, Armenian National Security Service said.
The vehicles in the this section were evacuated. The NSS says that works are underway to unblock the road and restore the normal operation of the movement of people and vehicles.
Based on the operative information received by Artsakh National Security Service, due to the vigilance of our citizens, on August 25, Jamil Babayev, a serviceman of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, was found in an apartment on Teryan Street in the city of Martakert in Artsakh, Artsakh Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
Babayev was arrested and taken to the National Security Service of Artsakh. A criminal case has been launched with regard to espionage, illegal crossing of the state border, threat to kill the minor residents of the mentioned apartment.
