Skirmish in parliament; security officers intervene

The situation in parliament became tense after the speech of NA Deputy Speaker Ishkhan Saghatelyan, when the leader of the Civil Contract faction Hayk Konjoryan was going to speak. The MPs of the opposition faction started shouting. NA Speaker Alen Simonyan issued a warning to MPs of the Armenia faction Agnesa Khamoyan and Armen Rustamyan. MP Armen Rustamyan opposed from the seat, which infuriated the pro-government MPs; he also started shouting from the seat. Alen Simonyan urged the MPs not to get up. He proposed to use all the opportunities in the manner prescribed by law, but the MPs got up and continued shouting. “I invite the security officers inside. Please restore order in the hall,” the NA Speaker said. Security officers in military uniforms entered the hall. Alen Simonyan ordered to turn off the live broadcast.
