On July 31, at around 11:30 am, as a result of a search operation, the body of Pargev Margaryan, 23, was found 2.5 km away from the permanent location of his military unit on the northern section of the border, Artsakh Ministry of Defense said in a statement. The statement said the ministry “shares the grief of the loss and expresses its support to the family members, relatives and friends” of the deceased serviceman.

It is not yet known why Margaryan had left his unit.
