Former Armenian Ambassador to the United States Varuzhan Nersesyan had a farewell telephone conversation with US Senator Bob Menendez to thank him for the support to Armenia and Artsakh. The ambassador wrote about this on his microblog.

This morning I had a farewell call with Chairman Senator Menendez. I thanked him for his outstanding support to Armenia and Artsakh during my tenure. His support is crucial for further expansions of Armenian-American relations.

Nersesyan has been appointed Armenia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
