Argishti Kyaramyan appointed chairman of Investigations Committee
At the July 12 special meeting of the government, Argishti Kyaramyan was appointed the chairman of the Investigations Committee to replace Hayk Grigoryan.
Since December 24, 2020, Kyaramyan was Committee’s deputy chairman.
He was the assistant to the head of the State Control Service since March 1, 2019.
Between April 10, 2019 and May 4, 2020, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appointed him as Deputy Head of the State Control Service.
He headed Armenian National Security Service for one day on May 4, 2020.
Over the period of just two days, Kyaramyan first was fired as head of the State Control Service, then appointed deputy chairman of the Investigative Committee. Hours later, he received the rank of colonel and was appointed deputy director of the NSS. Between June 8 and October 8, Kyaramyan headed the NSS.
