Kajaran Mayor Manvel Paramazyan was detained for two months, his lawyer, Elizabet Petrosyan said in a Facebook post.

On July 8, Paramazyan was taken to the National Security Service Investigation Department. Yesterday, he was charged with aiding or organizing fraud, vote buying, taking bribes, violating the ban on charity during elections, or obstructing the exercise of the free will of voters. Today, the court approved the motion for arrest.
