The Russian Ministry of Health has decreased the releasing cost of the Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19. Now it costs two times less: 866 rubles 81 kopeks, for the two components taken together.

“The decrease of the cost has become possible after the optimization and development of vaccine production technology as well as strong growth in its production capacity for mass vaccination of the population”, the Minister of Industry and Trade Dennis Manturov announced.

Previously, the cost of the two components of Sputnik V was 1942 rubles.
