28.06.2021 | 13:51The Central Electoral Commission summed up on June 27, the results of the June 20 National Assembly election. Accordingly, the mandates of the three forces that passed to the parliament will be distributed as follows:
The Civil Contract party will get 71 seats, the Armenia bloc – 29, the I Have Honor bloc – 7 seats. The Factor TV tried to find out from Vahagn Aleksanyan, the public relations coordinator of the Civil Contract party, if there is already a decision on how many of the first 71 numbers on the list will be in the parliament, and how many of them will serve in the executive body.
“At this moment, the discussions are not finalized yet.” said Alexanyan. “When it is final, it will be made public.” When asked if there would be a reshuffle in the cabinet, Aleksanyan said that the issue is still under discussion and that “nothing can be ruled out at this moment.”
Seventeen of the party members included in the list have previously worked in the executive body. There is no doubt that Nikol Pashinyan, number one on the list, will head the cabinet again.
Three people on the list are currently acting ministers: Suren Papikyan, acting minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure; Romanos Petrosyan, acting minister of Environment, and Anahit Avanesyan, acting Minister of Health. One of the key figures of the CP is Arayik Harutyunyan, who previously held the post of Minister of Education and Science, and is now Pashinyan’s chief adviser.
