The National-Democratic Axis has issued a statement saying it does not accept the election results.

“The election held under the semi-colonial regime did not differ significantly from the previous ones by any criteria. The people had not yet healed from the catastrophic wounds of the Russian-Turkish-Azerbaijani war organized with the service of the incumbent and former regimes of Armenia, when the same actors, with their united efforts, put the people in front of a forced choice between “bad and worse.” Therefore, taking into account many facts, we declare:

1) we consider the elections not fair,  not free, with their results contradictory to the sovereign goals of the Armenian statehood, therefore unacceptable;

2) we consider the government formed on the results of this election and any international agreement it may sign with regard to the November 9, 2020 declaration (except for the provisions regarding the ceasefire and humanitarian issues) or derive from it, as illegitimate, subject to denouncement by the future national government.”
