A statement has been published on the official Facebook page of Armenia’s Ombudsman, which reads: “Irrefutable proof that the Azerbaijani authorities:

1) illegally hold all the Armenian captives as hostage for political bargaining;

2) commit a crime of human trafficking;

3) the international community is constantly misled by claiming that the captives are terrorists or saboteurs;

4) organize false criminal proceedings against prisoners.

T his discussion between the presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan is that the Armenian captives are being held illegally in Azerbaijan in order to exchange in groups for some mine maps. The staff of the Armenian Human Rights Defender translated the video into Russian and English and analyzed it. It will be sent to the specialized bodies of the UN, the OSCE, the Council of Europe and other international structures by an official letter of the Armenian ombudsman.  Attached is a video affirming the fact where Aliev discusses the issue of maps of minefields with Turkish President Erdogan, automatically admitting that they are holding Armenian captives
