A man in a public minibus N54 was stabbed to death at the intersection of Paronyan and Leo streets. Citizens gathered at the scene refused to speak in front of the camera, but provided some details. According to the information provided by them, the reason for the murder was that the victim asked another passenger to put on a protective mask. An argument broke out: the masked passenger hit the chest of the masked driver with a knife, then ran away.

According to the witnesses, the victim was a 40-year-old man. We were not told how many passengers were on the bus. The policemen working on the spot mentioned that the Investigative Committee will publish new details in the near future. At the time of our filming, the scene was being investigated by the Investigation Division of the Kentron-Nork Marash Administrative District of the Investigation Department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee. The police and investigators did not allow to talk to the minibus driver. The latter, driving the minibus, left the area accompanied by the police. A criminal case has been initiated according to Article 104, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code.
