13.04.2021 | 13:12During his speech at the ADA University, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that Baku has no military plan on the border with Armenia.
“You asked what will happen when the Russian peacekeeping troops leave the region? We have a border with Armenia in Tovuz and Kazakh. Our border guards are standing in Zangelan at the request of the Armenian side. Are there any incidents? No. Our troops are standing 5 meters away, but we do not have any military plan,” Aliyev said.
Aside from this, Aliyev once again complained that the modernization of the Armenian army is planned with Russia, which, according to him, raises questions.
“We have conveyed our point of view to our Russian partners. Why is this being done? Any program of Revanche will be firmly suppressed,” Aliyev said.
