Ilham Aliyev called on the Minsk Group to submit proposals for peace in the region

Baku expects the OSCE Minsk Group to present its proposals for peace in the region. According to Azeri media, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at the “New Look at the South Caucasus: Post-Conflict Development and Cooperation” conference held at ADA University.
“I think there are areas in which Minsk Group can play its role in terms of the post-conflict situation. Not as a group that helps resolve the conflict as it has already been resolved. I am talking about a peace agreement with Armenia. If Armenia considers it, then many spheres of activity will appear for international players, which refer to demarcation, delimitation, cooperation. I hope they will come to us with proposals soon. We will study those proposals very carefully,” he said.
