More than 718․000 people worldwide have been diagnosed with COVID in the past day, WHO reports. According to the UN, more than 133.55 million cases of coronavirus infection have been detected worldwide since the outbreak. A total of 12.639 people have died worldwide from the infection in the past day, bringing the total number of victims to 2.894.295. More than 35% of the new cases reported by the World Health Organization in the last day were recorded in Europe, followed by North and South America and Southeast Asia.
