04.03.2021 | 22:21In France, people over the age of 65 who have other diseases can get the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID, VOA reports. When the vaccine was approved by the European Union, France allowed it to be used only for people under 65, as earlier trials had shown that it did not work well for people over 65.
France ranks sixth in the world with 3 million 761 thousand infections of COVID. About 86.900 people have died because of it. It should be reminded that the professional commission in Armenia approved the use of Sputnik V, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer vaccines against COVID. Vaccinations in Armenia will start in March, although “Sputnik” V has already been used for a few vaccinations. According to Armenian experts, AstraZeneca and Sputnik V are more preferable in Armenia because, unlike “Moderna” and “Pfizer”, they do not require special conditions for storage and transfer.
