20 Azerbaijanis have died and 85 injured in mine explosions in the occupied territories of Artsakh after the war. The statement came from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, local media reported.

“Since November 10, 14 Azerbaijani civilians and 6 servicemen have been killed in a mine explosion. At the same time, 16 civilians, 69 servicemen and employees of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action were injured. It should be noted that the Azerbaijani authorities have established strict control and set up various checkpoints to prevent residents from entering the occupied territories of Artsakh. Almost every day there are reports in the Azerbaijani press about the arrest of various people trying to go to the occupied territories of Artsakh. The Azeri authorities explain the ban on entering the occupied territories of Artsakh for security reasons, as the territories are not demined, but one of the main reasons is the robbery, which has started actively since November 10 and continues today. According to some data, in many cases it is organized by the chiefs of police and representatives of the executive power, who send different groups of people to minefields, endangering their lives. By the way, the residents state that many people go to the occupied territories of Artsakh for the purpose of robbery”, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
