There may be “vaccination passports” soon

The British authorities eventually rejected the idea of allowing to enter a pub only with a so-called “vaccination passport”, but in order to go to a stadium or a concert, one must have such a document, Euronews reports.
PM of the UK Boris Johnson is to announce this today. It is expected that the sports competitions will resume on May 15. The government believes that this is the only way to ensure sanitation and prevent new outbreaks. On Saturday, Boris Johnson announced that 5 million people in the UK have received two doses of the vaccine, thanking everyone for following the rules.
Until then, the EU is working to introduce “vaccination passports”. The issue was first raised by Greece in January, when Athens sent a request to Brussels on the principles of creating such a document in order to receive tourists, including from outside the union.
